The first 30 minutes were confusing and almost boring. I didn't feel a connection to the main characters or care about their fate. However, the movie picked up during the third act. The perceived protagonist became the ally and the story became interesting. I think at least a half an hour could be removed from the story and it would still be ok. It also needs more character development.

Stylistic and visually engaging. However, the story line was over simplified and made assumptions on the intelligence of the audience.
