Beautiful scenery but predictable ployl

Her choice in men was aggravating, but I did enjoy the movie. Glad she ended up with the first guy at the end of it.

Beautiful with great acting. Also disappointing in some ways: lack of character development, missed a few scenes I was particularly looking forward to (shearing the sheep). I would have liked more scenes from the book (neighbors talking together with the maltster) instead of so many lengthy close-ups.
