Story felt rushed and the characters got choked a lot but the French Canadian guy was cute, so having him in the film made up for it.

I expected more.....not that scary.

The movie plays too much on the simple idea of jump scares, mixed with perception and perspective change shots. The plot and story line were not very well fleshed out, and felt almost shoe horned to fit it into the conjuring universe. Although named for the movie, the Nun (Valak) itself, was also not even remotely a main character, with way too limited screen time.

Great set design effects and actors couldn't save a script overwrought with jump scares, an antagonist with no end to its abilities to seemingly alter reality itself, and a nonsensical plot. So much potential squandered.
