the movie was good but too long...too much angst!

Very good but sad and true story. The boy at the end really surprised me.

overall it was good - followed the book but with most books made into movies, the book was better.There were several parts in the book that were left out that were crucial to understanding each character and their relationships with each other. There were bits of really bad acting that were distracting to the story.
