The story line was is a comparison of David and Goliath. From the beginning of the movie you could feel the raw emotions of the characters.

The movie is very funny and heartfelt. I enjoyed seeing the unlikely pair form a lifelong friendship and break barriers. This was a great story that I never knew about before seeing this film.

Nice story

A little too Hollywood (eg, you are directed in an obvious way re how to feel about scenes and characters, unrealistic incidents created for the sake of continuity in the storyline, broad humor, lack of nuance), but overall a humorous feel-good movie that lifted me from a not-so-great mood. The chemistry between Jamie Foxx and Tommy Lee Jones worked and was enjoyable to watch.
