I'm always up for a good high school girl movie, and this one did some things well. However, I found a lot of the characters irritating and some of the relationships under developed. I realize this was adapted from a book, but I'm not sure I was entirely behind the premise and where the movie went. Not a bad way to spend a rainy afternoon, but not a movie I'm going to running out and recommending.

It was better than I expected and overall I enjoyed it. I think it's been done before but this was in a different way and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I think it was a little unrealistic, but also made a lot of emotion very real. The death at the end was unnecessary and would have honestly made the other girls (who wanted to kill herself) situation worse in reality.

It was a nice story, with a good underlying message. The characters seemed too afluent and whiny. But the overall story was good
