Awesome movie

I cried a bunch

This movie is both charming and timely. With all of the crazy changes we go through as adolescents, the overriding message this movie offers of open mindedness, friendship, and understanding, are messages that are cornerstones of great character. Add in some wonderful humor at the times when growing up seemed more painful then we alone could bare, and you have a movie long overdue!

Even as a guy, i identified with what it was like to grow up in the time period set in the film, and also with the religious struggles that were portrayed. Add the humor, and this is a really great film!
