Chemical Hearts is draining, in the best way, as it takes you through the emotional toll of not just healing, but shedding your childhood and expectations.

I had not read the book, so I wanted a happy ending, but I have to say I appreciate the fact that the movie addresses mental health.

It was a cute teen romance. I enjoyed relaxing and watching something enjoyable.

It is a young adult movie that would resonate with that age group.
