Pretty good movie, the character development and story line is not as strong as the original but the flying and war scenes are outstanding. However, if you don't know the details of the actual events, you won't get them from this film.

Just OK. Its for historians.

A good movie with factual summary on the events that went down in the Pacific Theater of WWII!

Great acting ( especially Ed Skrein, Patrick Wilson and Woody Harrelson), engaging and well done battle scenes. Main problem that kept me from liking it more was cookie cutter characters made from every war movie trope.
