In the first 40 min of the movie, it was scary. However, in the end, it was a mix between comedy and action. Overall, I liked it, and the audience was captivated by the story.

The plot was based off of old folklore, and I like that there was representation from that community amongst the actors and actresses. I also enjoyed the bits of comedy here and there! However, I felt like the spirit was not scary looking enough and the scares were all jump-scares, which I do not find scary.

Good movie.

I felt it was more americanized and needed to focus more on the actual story of the llorona.
