My rating was a 4.8 I like the movie with another narrative of a William Shakespeare but instead of focusing solely on him it focuses on his wife and her experiences of being a mother and losing her child

Beautifully made! Very well cast. Would have been a nice plus to have captions on the screen for the strong accents.

Beautifully acted, and a good interpretation of the novel.

the emotional payoff and release comes at the end, like for anjes. which is a lot of suffering to wade through. the acting was good, but the ambiance of the film was very dark and stifling, perhaps reflective of that time period. life was an unknown struggle then, that’s for sure. thank you for the ticket!
