Year jerker

With me not knowing the story was based on real events, I thought it begin very fragmented. The character in the back story turned out to be a very pivotal person. I wished that made the wildfires a character oppose to a element of the film. I like the performances but they were acting in some scenes. But the second half made up from spotty editing. In all I liked it but didn't feel it was a strong film. Important because these men did the ultimate sacrifice. Would have love to known the better

I liked it and you will too. Some of it feels rushed and editing just cuts away, but it is a tearjerker.

This movie although seemingly cliche at first manages to do something that is typically very difficult when it comes to film. The film is able to subtly make the audience emotionally attached to each of the major characters without overdoing it by showing us both the good and the bad in them thus giving a sense of realness and humanity to the characters. These elements make the climax of the film much more intense as we had seen these characters through their victories and their losses.
