Love the concept and storyline. The acting was subpar

It was great eye candy but the narrative left much to be desired. I enjoyed the last half hour more than the first hour and a bit. Johansson was really good; as was the supporting cast (especially Takeshi Kitano). Oh, and THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! for showing it in standard format instead of 3D! 3D is a stupid fad that needs to die (as it did in the 501s, 70s, and 80s).

3 of 5 stars: too violent. too austere, like a sequence to "BladeRunner". Felt the distinct separation of female "maternal" roles vs the violent male roles (Unfortunately no Father figure) an incorrect direction "director's" emphasis was supposed to be about the family perspective. Did correlate the romeo/juliet emphasis between two protagonists, yet the violence did emphasize an "R" if not NC-17.
