It’s pretty good. It has a deep message that a lot of people, like those in the younger generation, would be able to relate to. It portrays the search for a balance between old traditions and the contemporary world.

The characters were well-drawn and not one-dimensional. I really enjoyed the relationships between Boogie and Eleanor and Boogie and Richie. And the dialogue was much more realistic and believable than you typically find in films about teenagers. \r\rAnd I also really liked that the film featured a diverse cast and the main character wasn't a nerdy suburban teenager.
