It's kind of slow but still a good movie.

Fantastic story. You have just enough information to stay interested, but still not fully know what's going to happen next. Some of the "twists" you could see coming, but I liked how it ultimately was Jean's story. The dynamic between Jean and Teri was also played out well. The ending doesn't leave us with much other than we know she's moving forward with her life, into what? Housewife turned thug? Left open for a sequel, if the writer wanted. While I liked the message the poster and title portray, I don't feel like it's really played out by Jean. She's still "learning"...and never helps Eddie

interesting story that leaves much unsaid and for the viewer to figure out. jean evolves from someone who had never been on her own to someone who is quite capable of taking care of herself. i think everyone can now identify with the feelings of loneliness and frustration she feels when she is forced to stay inside, not go out or make friends.
