While a slow developing plot, the character development was strong. I liked the integration of songs I already knew into the story. Joaquin Phoenix did a fabulous job building on the character that Heath Ledger established. Lady Gaga's character kept me guessing what her ultimate goal was.

It was a depressing but great movie. The ending kind of blew my mind because I was expecting a happy ending. But I guess the reality of it is not everything or everyone has a happy ending, it is just life.

I don't really like musicals, but this was a differnt and unique experience. I enjoyed the film and the screening and would recommend it, however I do think it would have been better without all the songs and some more joker and Harley action. I would really like to see more in this universe.

Many may disagree, but I enjoyed this one much more than the first. There was more to laugh at, and the musical aspect was a breath of fresh air!
