Good suspense movie...

Really long and a little drawn out but good overall

It was great! I haven’t read the book but did read the Shining and have seen the Kubrick film and Doctor Sleep did an amazing job of honoring both. It felt a bit rushed in parts and a bit drawn out in others but is otherwise well-paced and fun to watch. Suspenseful in parts but not scary

It's a well made stand alone movie. One didn't really needed to see the shining to get caught up to it or to understand Doctor Sleep. But did love the scenes they put in from the shining aswell as the music from it in the beginning and when they where traveling to Colorado. Definitely will be seeing it agsin when it releases in theaters.
