I was a big fan of the conjuring series but I think this movie was disappointing. It started off strong but once the corpses started turning into Demons (Evil dead vibes) it started going really downhill from there. A lot of one liners that left us laughing and then not taking the movie/scares seriously. Wish this was better, had high hopes

Well made from a technical standpoint, with two solid lead performances. But the story doesn't engage on an emotional or psychological level. It feels like wandering through a theme park Halloween maze (which it will no doubt inspire). And really, we get it: Nuns are creepy! Thank you for the opportunity to preview the film.

The story is not as good as the rest of the conjuring-verse. A few scares but the movie is not really convincing overall.

It wasnt very good. It just had a series of startling moments threaded by a weak plot. The french canadian wasnt even close to sounding french canadian and his presence in romania and that of the young nun made no sense whatsoever. The acting was pretty weak too as was the behaviour of the characters...running around cemetaries and getting buried etc. I was never scared. Sorry.
