At first, I was a little concerned about the direction the movie was going because I love social media but as I was drawn in by the twists and turns I realized a lot about our society. We have all become so driven by technology that we really don’t know our friends and loved ones like we think. The character of the Detective also made me think about how much trust we put in those with authority and how it is ok to ask questions and speak up (especially when it’s your life that’s at stake).

I really enjoyed this movie because it gave a good and bad prospective of social media I think all parents should see.

I liked the way it was filmed to take place entirely on screens. John Cho was excellent. The mystery was intriguing and left enough clues to both lead the viewer down the paths David went down, but also suspect there was something wrong with the situation overall. One small critique: the repeated brief glimpses of the son who had nothing to do with the story until the reveal were a little heavy handed. If the son had been a character before that, it would have been more surprising.
