It has a good message, but was a little overdone: the villain (Lindsay) was too horrible, the houses were looking too much as if they were straight out of " Architectural Digest", and the abuse of the outcast girl was too much and too sustained as well. My14-year-old daughter who is worldly and liberal) felt that the movie should not be rated PG-13 due to multiple references to sexuality.

Cute but sad. A bit slow at times. Definitely a good movie for teens to see. A very relevant topic.
