I think the concept of it was such a smart idea. After the movie we had gone to the Apple store and a phone had the Countdown App and we were all like “NO!” Lmao. The movie definitely got to us.

The movie was really good but I gave it a 4 because I didn’t like the ending.

Pretty cool they put some funny parts in a horror movie.

I would've rather they made it rated "R" and not hold anything back. It felt like they held back some. Would've liked to see how the app affected more characters. Very few movies these days can actually scare or surprise you and this one did have some moments that were unexpected such as how people died. It felt a little like Final Destination with the shock factor of the deaths minus the gore factor which was missing some... there could've been more gore and that would've maybe made it rated "R". Glad that it was setup in the end for a part 2. Would like to see more. Will watch the next one. Nice concept, there and good release timing for Halloween. Not sure if the real cell phone app was created by the movie producers but it definitely does add some realism and hype to the movie. It is a good promotional tool and smart idea if it was done by the film producers. If not then whoever made the app deserves significant credit because that was one of the reasons that I wanted to see the movie... because I would never actually download that on my phone so watching someone else do it is ideal... lol.
