I enjoyed the film. It became more captivating once all three kids were born as the family dynamic shifted significantly. It would’ve been more interesting to see why Shakespeare kept feeling the need to go back to London and why he felt like he couldn’t do what he was doing in London in Stratford. But I also understand screen time is limited. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance from Hamnet and the mother, I feel those two really carried the movie.

I loved the film's depiction of the stages of grief, the artistic direction, the cinematography and acting. I wish the film had developed a stronger connection to Hamnet so that we felt his death and absence more keenly. Overall, a great experience.
