The preview makes it seem like the movie is more exciting than it really is. Quotes mention how White Boy Rick might have been a cocaine kingpin but the movie doesn’t really show that. The movie was really about how he got screwed by the FBI. Overall I did enjoy the film.

Well paced for a drama. Kept the audience's attention around me throughout the movie. Directed well with camera shots of interesting scenes and angles, including close=ups. I particularly liked the choice to use a night driving scene, filmed while it was snowing.Character development could have been deeper to better understand what motivated him to get so involved in dealing drugs vs just the environment he was in. Father and sister involvement was done well.

I felt like I was a part of the film their depiction of the time period was outstanding the soundtrack was spot on. Not to heavy but felt real.
