Very predictible But at the same time very sweet. It was slow and I didn't like some of the things that occurred. I have neenever read the book. It was okay from a girls perspective. My guy was almost asleep.

Interesting view of an beautiful and very independent single woman in the 1870's and the different types of men who admire her qualities. Ladies, go see this film, if only for Matthias Schoenaerts!

I enjoyed it! Carrie Mulligan is very good and the supporting cast is solid.
