A timely and mostly thoughtful exploration of the consequences of the USA's wartime interventions. However, besides the exceptional performances of the lead trio, it's frustrating that for a film which so loudly preached a rare 'truth before lies' message regarding the past and war, that it ultimately opts for a cheap sentimental fantasy ending. That aside, this is a recommended film.

Very touching & eye opening story about the deaths of US servicemen

I enjoyed the movie. I thought it was Cranston's movie although his character was annoying and tactless.
