It started off at full speed and never let up. However with all the fast talking and nonstop running, it seemed they said a lot without moving the plot along that much. This also made the 3rd act feel rushed and eager to end it all. I didn't like the DP's choice to give us beautiful tracking shots and wide angles to keep a clear understanding of the locations of the characters in relation to each other, however we got standard close up "action film", quick edit shots when it came to fights.

Never great having "selective amnesia" as a major plot device. Still, the story moves along.Gotta say though,, I was rooting for the virus near the end.

It was very good, I liked it a lot. Fast paced and intense. Better than I thought it would be probably because I think the trailer showed too much of Langdon visions / hallucinations. I think the trailer made Inferno look like a departure from the other films which is misleading. Also Ben Foster was a surprise, I liked him too.

I read the book many years ago and I do think that it stayed true to the book. That being said, it was a little slow in some areas and confusing to people who hadn't read the book.
