I highly recommend this movie. It was fairly true to the public's knowledge of the facts of the disaster without too much Hollywood spin. It was very heart-racing and heart-breaking because of the knowledge of poor decisions being made in the face of logic and reason and only for financial gain. The culmination of which ended in such a horrific cost of human, animal, and environmental life.

A very suspenseful and emotional movie. The people were well represented in the actors chosen for the roles. Their emotions came through in their acting and you felt what they were going through, what those who went through the event must have felt. It was very good and very eye opening about the world corporate oil and their greed for the all mighty dollar over human life.A total recommend.

I was living in Pensacola FL at the time of this event and remember all the news reports of the oil but none of the 11 men that lost their lives. They did a good job of honoring the 11 men.

My opinion of DEEPWATER HORIZON is that it was very well written. The flow was easy to follow as it transitioned from the very normal everyday home lives of "Mike" & "Andrea" to their transport to work. "Jimmy" seemed to epitomize the no-nonsense attitude of an oil rigg boss for us folk who have no idea. The acting was fantastic & believable. The movie goer is transported to LA. on board Horizon.
