Phoenix is amazing in this role

It was a musical thriller.

It did everything it set out to do while keeping it in gotham centric world. It was a very gritty, dark, surreal setting. The ending was shocking and absolutely not expected. It was well worth the watch and the perfect conclusion.

Excellent performances by Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. Sad to see the ending of The Joker
