Interesting story, but way too slow and way too long. The childhood part could be cut short to make the whole movie within 2hr. It's kinda weird but I feel the characters just changed, not grew or developed. Characters building is certainly not impressive.

It was true to the book

The theme of the movie was what peaked my interest in this film. Unfortunately the adapter of this book to movie used too many flashbacks that ruin the continuity of the plot

I Heard that the book was better.
