I was pleasantly surprised that the movie made me laugh with gusto more than once. My favorite scene was the homage to The Lion King - brilliant! Also, Stan Lee's cameos rocked. The references that only true fans would recognize were clever; although I imagine some people were left scratching their heads. I was expecting the chance to sing-along to the show's original theme song but noooo!
