It was really good. Cute and funny. The only thing is sometimes I didn’t understand the Chinese references. Like I couldn’t tell if the main girl won or lost the Manjong game. Overall I liked it and would recommend the movie to other people.

LOVED it! As an Asian woman, I know what it's like to have a mother that "ruled the household" and how me and my siblings tried to be the "good" Asian children my mother tried to raise. In general, we WERE good kids, but being American-Asian just didn't jive with Mamma! LOL! Yup, the film definitely resonated with me and the Asian culture.

Everything about this movie was great! The is like the very modern version of The Joy Luck Club, but in a much higher level of craziness. The Cantonese speaking was a plus
