I will preface my review with the fact that I am not into anime nor modern video games (for the most part).Although there were amazing, intriguing small sections of this film here and there, peppered throughout ... the cohesive whole was a bit too scattered, in my opinion.Compare Blade Runner Or even "Ex Machina" & One will see where the script falls down. So much potential!

It's not bad, but neither can one call it great. Doesn't leave the audience all-a-buzz upon leaving the theatre - however, it's got solid action sequences, impressive special effects and is a cool concept. Not a bad rendition of the live version of the original Japanese Anime franchise.

Greataction scenes coupled with excellent visual effects. The story flows and doesn't become sloppy.

It was a good ending to an otherwise ok movie that I felt dragged too long
