Midway was entertaining, but overall felt like a rip off of Pearl Harbor. The accents were unintentionally hilarious, Nick Jonas was clearly only there to attract the teen audience, and the movie gave you little time to connect to the players before starting in on the action.

I wish the security would ask people not to walk in front of the projector at the Boston Common cinema.

The acting wasn't great and the accents were atrocious. I appreciated that it stayed somewhat historically accurate, but the characters (both American and Japanese) could have felt a little more humanized.
