Plodding movie that is way too long and the story winds up being rather dumb.

Having not known much about the movie's plot, I went in with a completely open mind. It was pretty disorienting and disjointed at first and trying a bit to be more of a mystery than it was, but despite that, I truly enjoyed it. It was riveting and I felt myself wanting to know how everything played out. Ansel Elgort was as masterful as ever and had truly gut-wrenching moments.

I would recommend this movie based on some powerful moments in the film. For example, the relationship with his mother explored, the frailty of relationships in general, and the vulnerability it takes to be open and honest with the people you love. It seemed convoluted at times not knowing what type of movie it was trying to be. Sometimes it came off as a thriller, sometimes as a drama. 3/5 ty!

I expected more. It was just ok in my opinion.
