Although it was rated R. I think it will appeal to a younger crowd, due to the fact that it's centered around high school students

This movie felt like it was prolonging itself before we got to the third act. Same standard horror movie

I think the movie failed with its blending of comedy and horror. Characters were not well developed. I did enjoy the 80’s references, but I think that could be done better as well. The movie just seemed amateur to me, but maybe that’s what they were going for since it was set in the 80’s. I’m not sure if it was supposed to be a spoof on 80’s films or was trying to stand alone.
