life lesson about when things out of our control happen

I think it was a good indie. I love what they did with sound in the film. It was arresting. It really helped to put me in the lead character's mindset. Riz Ahmed was amazing! He gave areally heartbreaking and authentic performance.

Great movie. I really felt for Ruben and what he was going through. I cried when Ruben and Lu said they saved each other's lives. The movie left me with so many questions at the end, but I came to my own conclusion that he found peace with the silence. I just wish I knew what happened from there.

I love the subtlety of this movie. There were a lot of moments where you had to really pay attention to notice what the scenes were saying without audio or even sign language. I would recommend this film to anyone who wants to learn more about the deaf community but it seemed like the sign language was not authentic.
