Its was kind of slow, but a great movie.

Recommended for war buffs.... slow moving the first half hour until the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Then action packed.

It is just another war movie. It revolves around the aftermath of Pearl Harbor and how USA outsmarted the Japanese at Midway. So, there are characters that I remember from the movie Pearl Harbor that were in this one so it was fun to see if it stayed true to the real life heroes.

Enjoyed the historical perspective, but the CGI effects were overdone/excessive (e.g. anti-aircraft fire) and detracted from the realism. Acting and casting was just okay. Overall a little disappointing.
