I would recommend this film to a friend. It checked every box in my reveiw as far as having a great original story, amazing performances by the entire cast, and I enjoyed the rather "romantic" ending of the film. This is one of Guillermo Del Toro's best film only second to Pan's Labyrinth. @MarkColvinJr

I loved the strong characters. The visuals were beautiful. The love story was touching without being trite.

8.5 out of 10. "The Shape of Water" is a masterpiece that dives deeper into something we are all familiar with: relationships. Sally Hawkins gives a breathtaking performance from start to finish in this fantastically thrilling story. It's the relationship that she has with her friends, coworkers, and newfound interest that drives this movie. It's the most realistic fantasy I can relate myself to.
