It was solidly scary

Nice movie. A little slow in the beginning but picks up later on. The scares were a bit weak but ok. To be honest, it felt more like a pg-13 movie. I really enjoyed the tie ins with the other conjuring movies. Overall it's a decent movie.

Vast improvement over its predecessor. Great direction and performances. Tied nicely into the 1st installment.

I thought this movie was very enjoyable for a prequel and ioved the way the Annabelle franchise ties their movies together so well.
