As an Asian American, it felt amazing to feel seen and shown in a way that respects our culture and lived experiences while also showing us as whole people who aren’t just perpetual foreigners but people who deal with racial issues but also like to be funny and raunchy. And because we are portrayed as whole people, it’s relatable even for non-Asians. Great film.
