The message er plot was wonderful. Very touching. Ending was a bit off, but understandable and works.

I thought it was ok, it did drag ih a few places. Some of it was hard to understand though I think that was just a lag on my part (connection sucked) I do want to know what happens next. Does he go back and help out with the deaf? Questions that need to be answered... :)

The sound of metal is a film that shows a fresh perspective, it looks upon what most people see as a disability and shows a different light. Riz Ahmed gives an incredible performance coming to grips with his new reality and finding out that what he longs for in the end is impossible to achieve, he has to come to terms with the fact that his new reality is final and his life will never be the same, it is an emotional ride that teaches you about perspective and what really matters in a modern way that avoids clichés and cheesiness.

As a ex musician and current DJ, this hit way too close to home! Very enlightening about the hazards of hearing damage but also addiction. Great movie, but not one I would have probably picked out of the multitude of titles. Id say it will be a tough sell.
