The movie was slow in developing a reason for the 3 protagonist to stay at the "haunted" or "bedeviled" abbey. It was a "jack in the box" scary movie with shock and awe. People were falling asleep and others laughed as they were scared. Sorry!Jim

The Nun is a prequel to the Conjuring. Even if the atmosphere is well made it is killed with the dialogue and the several cheap predictable scares. Furthermore, I was glancing at my watch after 40 minutes into the movie due to the fact that it was becoming boring. In my opinion the franchise should end and you could watch when its released in DVD/Stream.
