I liked the film.

I love the film. It may have needed a bit more interesting scenes to keep the audience focused and entertained, but overall, it was a great movie

The performances from Michelle Williams and especially Christopher Plummer are worth the price of admission. Sadly, the rest of the film isn't strong enough to meet them.

Although Christopher Plummer is outstanding, there is little reason to sympathize with the young kidnapped Getty teen. The devotion of the mother is admirable, but both her cause and the greediness of the elder Getty become almost redundant. Wahlberg is barely adequate. The script has holes, such as no time-specific explanation of the reduction of ransom from $17 mil to $4. My favorite quality is the 2.35 aspect ratio--not seen often enough today. Thanks for opportunity.
