I thought the demon took away from the movie cause it was so lame compared to everything else. Also, the fact that the movie was so unrealistic when it came to the children facing scary situations made people laugh and also took away from the scary factor. It was still a good movie and I would still suggest it to friends. Did a great job tying it in with the first Annabelle at the ending too!

Very well done. Incorporated a lot of classic horror movie scare tactics but still left me satisfied.

Great suspense and tasteful humor when needed to break the tension in scenes.

The challenges I'm sure to making any scary movie are having elements that will scare a variety of people and being true to the source of the story if it is based on real events. I liked it well enough though and am not disappointed that I saw it. There were certainly some great moments and there was a nice tie in to the beginning of the other film for which this was a prequel.
