Well done but a little to much in terms of propagande for the US. Cooper is really really good.

I feel the movie was realistic and factual. The Director did an honest and fair job of portraying how combat effects the lives of soldiers and their families. There was plenty of action but was not over the top. The film reported to the audience it didn't "play" to them.

While an exciting series of events, lack of tension, compassion, or otherwise higher emotional feelings of and with characters was lacking. His grief over some of his kills and his wife's lack of really understanding what he was doing, was practically non-existent. Seems a lot of interesting things were skipped over and omitted. The abrupt end was disappointing as well.
