Although it started off a little off, I was drawn into this movie. The effects of muting/muffling the sound to imitate losing hearing was extremely effective! Riz Ahmed did a PHENOMENAL job with this role. His transformation was unparalleled! You couldn't help but be drawn into Ruben and his journey. Can't wait to re-watch!

Very enriching, sentimental and eye-opening film that has one man go from obsession/panic to self-acceptance after losing his hearing.
