Although the initial plot seems to be a little winded, it does go with the miniseries theme. Overall, I found the initial episodes to be insightfull on portraying the situation of that time and how military decisions were made. I will continue to watch the miniseries in National Geography. I am thankf for the opportunity to see these episodes.

A candid approach to a horrible war. The human spirit in the face of despicable circumstances these men found themselves into. One of my favorite part in this movie, it was perhaps the smallest part in this movie. It is how open and honestly they protrayed the views of the Iraqi people toward the American soldiers, a rarely observed point of view about the people we've affect the most.

The movie was very good, however it may have intentionally left out the bad actions that other soldiers were doing when the regime was overthrown, i believe that this was significant in the unraveling of the the order that was initially enjoyed during the beginning of the occupation of US forces in Iraq.

Well done, story brings you into the lives of the characters who are in the middle of a war situation.
