Beautifully scripted movie that explored how different cultures deal with tragedy. Loved it.

Absolutely loved it! It was well written and filmed. Very sad knowing it was a true story - so one of those movies where it was good but very so sad too.

Renner delivers a powerfully understated performance of a 21st century mountain man who's learned a thing or two from his First Nations mentors/friends/loves - learned to do what he knows must be done, through wise persuasion, not bulldozing. Olsen is no slouch as the fast-learning, FBI rookie, either. Every victim & survivor is portrayed with dignity & without pity, too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
