There were only two horror movies of all time that I actually found scary, until I saw The Conjuring 2, twice! This movie does not rely on cheap blood and gore, but it has an actual story: a true story at that. Not only was I jumping in my seat throughout the movie, but I screamed at one point each time I saw it. If you're looking for a true horror movie, this is it. I very highly recommend it!

Thoroughly entertaining, with a handful of groaners. The weakest part was Lorraine Warner, with a few too many spots of discordant, awkward acting. The haunting was pretty good though, many scares throughout!

Incredibly stressful and haunting.The Conjuring 2 was packed full of dread and fright. Tremendous pacing for a horror movie!

I LIKE IT!! We sat closer to the screen and had the full large-sized demon experience. Would highly recommend same to friends. Rolling camera work and close-ups were really good. Both lead actors did great jobs. Did espy the demon's name during the kitchen scene and "Janet's contact lenses. Would have to say Valak was too easily dispatched though. Also enjoyed the smattering of humour.
