Acting was great and being based on a true story, it was a terrific film. Especially loved the photos of the real people at the end. Thank you very much!

This movie (based on a true story) is kind of like a realistic version of "Forrest Gump," about an oblivious, but good-hearted, foolish man in Vietnam that doesn't seem to understand the myriad complexities of war. Zac Efron is really good in this comedy-drama as "Chickie," the naive Merchant Mariner who travels thousands and thousands of miles in a quixotic quest to give beer to his friends.

Zac Efron was fantastic. Telling everyone to see it. Incredible story.\r

One of the best movies of the year, based on actual events. Worth the watch.
